SEEK

1 Chronicles 16:11“Seek the Most High and his strength, seek his face continually.”

  seek

             attempt to find (something).
  • attempt or desire to obtain or achieve (something).
  • ask for (something) from someone.

The Father tells us all through His word that we are to seek Him.  How are you seeking him?  It is an action word. Requires you to be doing something. When we are seeking a degree we dedicate time, money, and energy in completing the courses necessary to obtain our goal. When we are working toward a goal at work we put forth effort above our regular output in order to achieve extraordinary results. When we want to achieve growth in our personal lives we must do soul searching and evaluation of our choices, thoughts, and attitudes. Why is it when it comes to our eternal life that is the area where we allow ourselves to fall short or become lazy?? Because it is a spiritual battle!!!  The irony of it all is that unless you are feeding your spirit through disciplined study and prayer then every attempt at growth and finding the keys to the Kingdom will fail.
