What is it going to take to get your attention??

Psalms 78:34“When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God. And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.”

Image result for Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Every person has a different breaking point. For some personal tragedy is their limit, for others its just being at a low point in their life without hope of change, and yet for others its extreme measure like losing everything and having everyone you know being put in a position that they cannot help you in any way.

There was a King of Israel that made such a choice.  He chose to go against everything he had been taught when he was growing up and through pride, bring the destruction of his kingdom and enslavement of his people.  The story didn't end there though. After he was in captivity he sought the Most High and was granted a chance at repentance.

2 Chronicles 33:11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,13 And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.

Unfortunately for most people coming to the end of themselves is a long hard journey. If you are watching a loved one go through this, be encouraged, as long as there is breath in them there is hope for them! Pray, press in, and trust that the Most High will keep his promises.

Covetiousness

Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
cov·et
ˈkəvət  verb
verb: covet; 3rd person present: covets; past tense: coveted; past participle: coveted; gerund or present participle: coveting
yearn to possess or have (something).

"the president-elect covets time for exercise and fishing"

synonyms:desire, yearn for, crave, have one's heart set on, want, wish for, long for, hanker after/for, hunger after/for, thirst for

When we covet what another has we are not only being ungrateful but we are also making way for envy, lust, jealousy, resentment, and ultimately hatred to have a place in our lives.  These are all works of the flesh. As the scripts tell us that our flesh is an enemy of The Most High it is up to us to buffet our flesh and subdue it to the authority of Christ.1 John 2:16

Mark 7:20

And he said That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10“Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”- also Eph 5:5, Colossians 3:5

Ephesians 5:3“ But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;”

Untangling the web

Image result for spider's web trapLiving in this world the more we learn the more we find out how deceived we truly were. How far the rabbit hole goes! How do you know which way is the correct way? How do you know what is truth and what is fiction? What is forward and backward, up and down? If most everything that you have been taught during your lifetime was under the guise of Truth; and yet the more research you do you find out that there was deception involved how do you know which way is which? Discernment! Discernment is how you know the Most High says he offers discernment of Good and Evil to each person.
Solomon asked for it:

1 Kings 3:9“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”

Image result for discernment Hebrews 5:14“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

It is up to us to exercise it to know the difference between a truth and a lie. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Truth. If you are seeking the Father and his righteousness he will reward you with the holy spirit that will lead you into all truth. You have to be willing to be corrected and brought into the Most Highs alignment.

Your leader should be teaching you the tools you need to learn more.

Ezekiel 44:23“And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.”

Ecclesiastes 8:5“Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.”

Cause-and-effect law

Image result for sow & reap

Galatians 6:7“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Are you eating the fruit of your own selfishness??? You will reap all that you have sown. If you have sown selfishness you shouldn't be surprised when those around you begin to behave in a selfish manner toward you.  The bible says the Most High loves a cheerful giver. You can't be selfish and a giver at the same time. Denying your flesh takes work, practice, and choice.

Psalms 126:5“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

Related image2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

Hosea 10:12“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

When we are focused on the imperfections around us we will be walking in an ungrateful attitude and will not be shining the light of Christ.

Caring for your temple

Image result for body is the temple

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.

He who destroys the temple....... How are you taking care of your temple? You have heard the adage you are what you eat. Your cells in your body will regenerate at different rates over time, that's most of the important cells in your operating systems. What are your cells telling you about the decisions you have made the last 7 years?  How have you fed it?  Do you research the things you take or do you just go with the flow or solely by your perception of what will taste good or not? We can't go back and change the past but we are in charge of the choices we make daily.  Start to make choices right now that will set you up to have the temple that The Holy spirit will be proud to dwell in!

What is your battle cry???

Feather painting scripture quote Isaiah 40:31 by CraftyStx on Etsy:

Isaiah 40:29-31 - He giveth power to the faint;
and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength.

When you're feeling overwhelmed and at the end of all you can bear, where do you turn? Do you cry out to Christ for help? Do you look to Him as your source of everything? The enemy will not let down his attack for one minute of any day for if through his attacks he is able to steal your faith from you then he will have won.  So when  you face your next test or trial remember Judith and raise your voice in a battle cry! Take the battle to the enemy never let him gain an inch!

Matthew 11: 28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Bootcamp

Luke 9:62“And Yashaya said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

So you've joined up. Committed your life to service of Christ. Made a confession that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior.  You're in boot camp. Time to change your routine. Time to get serious and let go of all the old ways. Time to become disciplined. Every area of your life is going to change.

When you look at boot-camp they take average people with a desire to serve and turn them into fighting machines. That is what the Most High wants to take you from, average to more than a conqueror.(Romans 8:37 )  This takes work, discipline, and determination. There is no room for regret. This commitment was not one to be made lightly. Now that you have made it, you must push through blood, sweat, and tears. (Heb 12:4) Get booted and suited in your full armor (Eph 6:16-18), read your instruction manual (2 Tim 2:15), find someone to clarify the things you don't understand( Hebrews 13:17), Pray, study, fast,  & train. The fight is only going to intensify until the end of the age. If you need help ask He has promised to supply you every tool you need to walk on to victory!! (Phill 4:19)

Hebrews 10:38-39“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”

2 Timothy 2:3“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Yashaya Christ.”

Loyalty to Royalty

Revelation 22:14“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Image result for Golden Kingdom

When you live in a kingdom there are certain rules and regulations that you have to follow. If you are a faithful and loyal subject you will be recognized by such as are not a part of that kingdom.  We are working to be in the kingdom of The Most High. He has laid out his rules regulations and order. Will you be compliant? Will you accept the people he chooses to honor or put in places of power? Are you submitted? This is our proving ground. Do those around you recognize that you live by a different code then most?   Are you showing the fruits of the code that you live by in your life?

The word tells us we can be perfect.Psalms 37:37,2 Corinthians 13:11,

So if you can be made perfect in Him what does that mean? Perfect peace Isaiah 26:3, perfect Love 1 John 4:18, Joy Ecclesiastes 2:26, Patience Luke 21:19, Kindness Proverbs 31:26, Goodness 2 Peter 1:7, faithfulness 15:15, long-suffering 3:12, self-control Proverbs 25:28 . All gifts of the spirit which is already perfected as she is with the Father. We still have some work to do to prove we are loyal subjects ready to become royalty in His kingdom.
