Words have power

So many times we say things without thinking. Or thinking they are just a joke. Words have the power of life and death. Sometimes to a moment sometimes to a day sometimes to a persons self image.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Socks and Toothpaste…… Not again!!!!

In Christianity we are taught that being a good wife has no requirements.   That we are equal to the man, that life is essentially because of woman and that the husband is the help meet too.  There is no delineation or order if the Most High taught.  Just a pimp playing on the emotions of the women in the congregation, and for those that are married selling that the luxuries of the world in our marriages and lives show that we are blessed.  It is no wonder so many marriages end in divorce because this  is taught every Sunday.  This was my warped sense of reality and who I was before understanding my purpose in our marriage.  In truth it is just the opposite because our husbands (house band its biblical origin) have to go out in this fallen world to provide.  When I would get all riled up about the toothpaste, the laundry or whatever; I seldom stopped to see things through his eyes.  All he had to fight to bring food through that door and all that is needed to maintain the home is done at a cost.  I had to seek Abba to revamp the independent woman thing taught so I could understand that there is something quite beautiful in being a help meet.  This revelation did not just come over night and  this humbling was not easy.  Yes!!!  I had to be crushed because my thoughts were haughty and not in the Fathers order.  This was truly jarring, because by the world's standards I was all that and a bag of chips.  Yet to the Most High there was no sweet savor and His proving fire ensued.  It burned up the old me and I am so thankful because that chick was a mess.  The fullness of peace that has been given by the grace and mercy of the Most High is worth every bit of this fight. I am so glad to be allowed to see things as Abba intended!!!!!

As women the world tells us daily that doing what we feel is our right and OK.  This is where we have to be separate because our truth tells us that this mindset is rebellion and of the same usurping spirit that was in our mother Eve.  The wonderful NEWS is that there can be marital bliss if Abba is first in our marriages.

1 Peter 3:1-8 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;² While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.³ Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;⁴ But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.⁵ For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:⁶ Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.⁷ Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.⁸ Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

This will require us living as a set apart people as we are called to be and that we don't resemble what the world's decree is on marriage.  Yes this means not to ask to fix him prayer and that when you go before Abba we have examined self to ensure we are in order.  We have to look at the sisters before us so that we can discern the choices that come our way and come to understand that we were never told to the magnitude of all they had to experience intentionally. Take comfort and be encouraged knowing that while the fiery darts are coming, he has peace knowing that you are going out of your way to care for your home that Abba has provided for you all.   Know that when you are one in the laws of the Most High in every way it shows appreciation and nourishes him with the light of the Father in you.  This love pours over on the family as a whole. You are His blessed daughter and a righteous walk allows Him to shine in you.   So when he comes through the door there is peace because you have chosen to maintain order in the home.  There are no piles of socks in the floor and the toothpaste cap has been put back on without spite.  You do not look like a bear because your face is not twisted up. There is no deceit from your heart slowly poisoning your thoughts because you are not angry and there is no guile.

¹⁶ I would rather live in the same house with a lion or a dragon than with a bad wife. ¹⁷ When a wife is in a bad mood, her expression changes until she looks like an angry bear. ¹⁸ Her husband has to go and eat with the neighbors, where he can't hold back his bitter sighs.

Your Ish.....your brother fights to protect the peace you have been given in Abba's home daily.  Know that if he is truly a servant of the Most High he too will be tested.  We have to understand that he has to have peace to move as His servant.  So provide this solitude because this is the only place where they can fully relax and enjoy it without having to be guarded.  In the Father's love we can move as required so they are free to provide and guard the home.  Honor them by not sowing discord and by seeking Abba on how to provide.   As the chosen children of the Most High the ultimate goal for them and for us as redeemed daughters is to be sure that He is glorified.  Our brother's walk displays this magnitude and is always seen by on lookers.  They are always being watched because of the fruit they bare.  So take care of them, for their walk is a witness, just as it was with our elders!!! 

Sisters, let the energy coming from you be of the Father's peace. Know that you are appreciated even when it isn't said.  Is he there? Does his fruit bear the works of the Most High???? Answer honestly and then look at yourself because if you are upset about socks, what's wrong with you?  How does this look??? What savor are you sending up???  You will find a new kind of joy showing that you appreciate being covered in every way by a MAN who is ordered and walking in Abba's love like his brother.  No riff raff will be allowed at the greatest feast to ever be held and your crown waits if you His daughter are a true servant who will not shy away from truth and will display who our Ancient of days is!!!!  #devotionals

Stubbornness

 

We have all heard the scripture quoted Rebellion is as witchcraft. but did you know it also says

1 Samuel 15:23

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 

 When we reject the plan that the Father has laid before us in his word. He will reject us from a place in His kingdom. That is when you will be counted as the wicked.

1 Corinthians 10:14“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”

In this modern world of Facebook,snap-chat, Instagram,and television we are taught to idolize self. That how you look, what you think and how you feel is king.  Is it in your life? Do you make your decisions based on how you feel or based on what the word of The Most High says?  Have you spent enough time in your bible to know what he says about the decisions you are making in your life? Do you study to show thyself approved as is stated in  Timothy?

Many times When our Father is trying to take us in a direction that we hadn't planned or weren't quite ready for our flesh will rise within us and try to resist it. That is the moment when you will know if you have fed your inner spirit enough of the word that you will be willing to follow the Father whether it is comfortable or not. A sister once said to me " I want my belt of truth cinched tight around my waist so it can't fall off."  Are you after the truth no matter how it affects your comfort level?

But if you choose not to......

Proverbs 1:27-31 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Behavior

Sisters know that it is beyond a blessing to be considered by Abba, but because we are His it is a requirement that our walk here bear witness to "Who Abba Is".  When we proclaim to be daughters of the Most High we bear His fruits. 

Titus 2:3-5King James Version (KJV)

³ The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

⁴ That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

⁵ To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of the Most High be not blasphemed.

So as His redeemed daughters in the Ancient of Days of the only "I AM that I AM" we look to the word of how we are to do just this.  Know that scripture is clear and IF you are His you will move there by I every way……!!!!!!

Are we to commit everything we do to The Most High??
Matthew Chapter 6

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

John 15:5 - I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing

If we are seeking the KINGDOM first then the Most Highs will provide our needs not necessarily are wants. As you can see the desires of our flesh are frivolous.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
