When something is set apart it is special. The fine china or the guest towels. You always present your best or most special for a special occasion. The Most High has called us to be set apart for Him. We are to be a peculiar people.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Different, Rare, Exotic, Set Apart.
Set apart to be a light to those around us for Him .
What makes us rare? keeping the Laws of The Most High.
Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
If you think of it a light, especially a bright one is ment to attract attention. Are you Attracting peoples attention to the Father? Are you being a light to be looked at and followed after? Are you a Law Abiding Citizen????
