I love to make homemade Chile

I do not really use measurements but here is a list of ingredients and about how much to use:

1/3 bag red beans dried
1/3 bag pinto beans dried
1/3 bag black beans dried
about 4 cloves of fresh garlic minced
1 jalapeno pepper diced
about 4 roman tomatoes chopped
1 can of green Chile peppers. (Hot)
1 red onion diced
1/3 red sweet pepper diced
1/3 yellow sweet pepper diced
1/3 orange sweet pepper diced
about 1 pd of ground beef (I normally use whatever is leftovers from the night before eating tacos)
ground pepper and sea salt, Chile power and taco seasoning to taste
I will use my leftovers from tacos and burrito from the night before. This can change the amounts of the above ingredient that I put in.
Sometime my Chile has a combination of steak and ground beef or even left over roast. Chile really is a stew with beans and really anything can be added to it.

I follow the directions on the bag for the beans. Cook over night in a slow-cooker and add the rest in the morning and by the time I get home from work I have dinner.
I have purchase a seal a meal so that I am able to freeze the leftovers of a nice rainy/snowy cold Chile kind of day. :)
