Have you eaten yet today??

Deuteronomy 8:3“And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”

So you haven't eaten all day. You have been busy, skipped breakfast, and you walk in and smell fresh baked bread.

Not by bread alone...... Christ hadn't eaten in 40 days .40!!!! His answer was not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the Father.(Matt4:4)  We often feel weak or not strong enough to battle through the tests we face. It is never a physical need. It is ALL spiritual; What will remain in the end? Every word from the very throne of The Most High.  When we are weak it is because we haven't sought the Father for our word of strength.

Psalms 119:89“LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”

Psalms 119:116“Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.”

Psalms 119:160“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”

Psalms 100:5“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

Psalms 62:7“In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.”

Psalms 46:1“(To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
