Refining Fire

Isaiah 48:10“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.”
Deuteronomy 4:33“Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?”

Matthew 3:11“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”

Psalms 29:7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

Nahum Chapter 1:6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.7 The LORD [is] good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.


Zephaniah 3:8“Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.”

James 4:8“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

The Most High and his son are returning with Fire!! If you have never been refined in the fire you may not be strong enough to stand and pass through his fire.. You may compromise, you may fold. So be thankful and grateful when you feel like your life is on fire because he is refining you and making you able to stand in that great and terrible day of the Lord..
 

Malachi  31 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:3 And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

1 Corinthians 3:13“Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.”


Luke Chapter 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

Ecclesiasticus 2:5“For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.”
2 Esdras 16:73“Then shall they be known, who are my chosen; and they shall be tried as the gold in the fire.”
 

 

How does fire make you feel?? When your cold it it symbolizes warmth. When you live in a drought it symbolizes danger, when your hungry it symbolizes nourishment on its way. When the word speaks of fire so often it speaks of refinement. Making of something. Most of the substances on this earth
 

Job 23:10“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” 

Hebrews 12:29“For our God is a consuming fire.” 

 
Zechariah 13:9“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”

1 Peter 1:7“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 

Psalms 66:10“For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.”

Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Deuteronomy 4:24 “For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”
