A higher standard

 2  Esdras 6:38 And I said, O Lord, thou spakest from the beginning of the creation, even the first day, and saidst thus; Let heaven and earth be made; and thy word was a perfect work.

The most high had the highest standards in mind when he created this place. He held back on not even the tiniest detail. Sin is what corrupts the beauty that The Most High has created.  As we follow The Most High asks us to come up to his standards. Sometimes that means leaving things behind. You can't move forward with him into heavenly realms if you are held down by all the weight of things tying you to this earth. So as you reflect on your day what is tying you to this earth and the ways of people that are held in bondage to sin and how can you refine your walk and be more pure, more holy, more true to who The Most High  is calling you to be?

1 John 2:16“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

 

Leviticus 20:7“Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.”

James 2:24 - Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
