Where is your Fear??

 Fear-


 


* an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat.


*be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening.


*a mixed feeling of dread and reverence.


*regard (God) with reverence and awe.


 


 People love to say that fear is not of The Most High.  I ask what kind of fear??? Yes, the scripture says we should fear no evil Ps 27:1. But I want to know do you Fear the Most High??  The Egyptians referred to him as the terrible demon like God. Why? Because he terrorized their country for their disregard to His authority and worship of idols.   





You have decided to serve Him. You have confessed to those in your life that this is the path you are choosing to follow.  Did you truly understand who he is and what he requires?


 



The Most High has high standards.  Are you ready to live by them. Crucify your flesh and strive for Perfection? Do you Fear The Most High?

Perseverance

Steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay. That is what the definition of perseverance is. Continuing on regardless of what has gotten in your way to slow you sown or tried to stop you.  When the enemy throws road blocks in your way how do you react? What do you do to persevere? So you show tenacity in fighting for what you believe?? In standing for truth?  Do you find a way to go around the road blocks that are holding you back from greatness and being more then a conqueror? Or do you just get sucked in? Sucked in to self pity and failure?  Following the scriptures will lead you on a path of perseverance and steadfastness.

Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”



James 1:12 - Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Have you found peace?

The world says do what thou wilt. A million friends, cars, cash,  a house, an education, a big exciting life, is what it is about. If you aren't shopping, partying, hanging, your missing out. But the Malachi 3:18 ) Prove All things.  Be content in whatsoever state you find yourself in.  That the Holy spirit will teach us, and lead us into all truth.  Often times we wonder why can't I just be happy? Why can't life just be easy? Its because we have not yet mastered our flesh. We have not yet learned to walk by the spirit and follow the Lord in all things. Peace with all men. When you receive the peace that Christ promised to leave us you can sit back, watch the craziness of this world and the signs of the times and pray. When you have gotten to  a place that your mind and focus are on things above, things that are happening around you have less of an impact on you. You see it as all part of a process. If you cannot contain the emotion that the experience is causing you to have then you know this is a vital lesson for you to get to the kingdom.   Scripture tells us that worldly wisdom is not Godly wisdom.( 1 Cor 3:19) That we should study to show ourselves approved.(2 Tim 2:15) Live a quiet life,(1 Thess 4:11) discern the spirits of those around us.

Ecclesiasticus 19:20“The fear of the Lord is all wisdom; and in all wisdom is the performance of the law, and the knowledge of his omnipotency.”

Proverbs 4:7“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

More than a conqueror


Romans 8:37“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”


To conquer anything means you are over it. You are better then the worst it has to throw at you.
You were put here to war and fight against principalities and powers in high places. You must first know who you are. Strengths, weaknesses, good, bad, and the ugly of you. Second you must know WHOSE you are. When you KNOW you who you belong to then you know where your source of strength and power comes from. Then you must know that there are No limits for The Most High!!  That when your working in His will and plan that the sky is to low for a limit.  Get heavenly minded!


Deuteronomy 20:3“And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;4For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you."

Exodus 14:14“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

2 Esdras 7: 56For while we lived and committed iniquity, we considered not that we should begin to suffer for it after death. 57Then answered he me, and said, This is the condition of the battle, which man that is born upon the earth shall fight; 58That, if he be overcome, he shall suffer as thou hast said: but if he get the victory, he shall receive the thing that I say. 59For this is the life whereof Moses spake unto the people while he lived, saying, Choose thee life, that thou mayest live.

Rubbish

 Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

So I began this blog a little over a year ago inspired by my devotional book that a sister gave me. The devotion that inspired me was " Ridding yourself of Rubbish."  It was based off of Ps 103:12
the basic premis was that we hang on to things that The Most High is trying to help us get rid of.  

"Only a crazy woman would run after the truck and grab her bag back out because she simply can't refuse to part with it. "

  
 We must be in our word and prayer to truely surrender our cares, hurts, guilt, shame, and secrets to The Father.



Philippians 3:13-14“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Yashaya”

Don't get pulled out of place

Judges 2:1And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.2 And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

 

They got distracted, lost their focus, then began to behave like the heathen that were living around them.  By losing focus they lost their identity as leaders and became followers. Followers of evil.  

The most High allowed the nations to Prove the people.  To see if the things that they spoke were truth or if they were just saying what they thought their leader wanted to hear.   

 Are you surrounded by heathen? At work, in the grocery store, at the gym, or even in trafffic?  Don't allow yourself to become engaged and caught up in their practices.

Judges 2:20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;21 I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

As we read on we read about Jeal. She was a housewife. A homemaker. Probably at home doing laundry, sweeping the tent, shaking out the dust, and thinking of what she would feed her husband when he returned. She had been placed strategically there by the Most High. The text doesn't tell us what she was thinking but it does tell us that she was smart, and she was prepared. By being home that day she killed the man that had terrorized the Isrealites.  Just because you don't feel like your making a huge impact or that you don't have a specific job,  understand that you may be strategically postioned for something that only the Most High knows is coming. 

 

Judges 4:17Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.20 Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

Why wait??

Today is the day.  You are not promised tomorrow. If  is something you want need or has to be done stop procrastinating!!!! There is a saying that procrastination steals your time. How so you may wonder well think about it. If there is something that you need to take care of but you choose not to do it.  So you think about it, you put it off, you find other things to put as priority, and after all of that you give in and have to do it!!! People want the Most Highto bless them but they think they do not have a part in the process.  The word says otherwise.


Proverbs 20:4“The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.”

 Proverbs 12:24“The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” 

Proverbs 13:4“The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.”

Experience

Psalms 146:8 “The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:” 

 What about hardships? What about setbacks or disappointments? 

These too are gifts! 

What you may ask??? A gift how?? When these expriences are used as He intends for you to use them they lead to experience.  That is when he shows you that He is indeed a very real help in your time of trouble. Building your faith.  When you accept these gifts as your own The Most High builds strength, endurance, and integrity- all elements of personal sanctification.

 

Romans 8:28“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” 

 Romans 12:2“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

As you go through this refinement process and the charachteristics of the Father begin to take shape in your life know that you will begin to live a counter-culteral lifestyle Contarary to this world. Going aginst the "flow" and what is deemed normal will bring ridicule and rejection.  It is then you should wear it as a badge of honor.  Their reaction means that they can recognize the difference between the worlds standard and The Fathers.  Pay attention to the lessons you are being taught through your everyday life. Its in the details that you will see where the transformation will take place. 

 

Philippians 4:6“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Angry

Psalms 4: 4 in your anger do not sin when you are on your beds search your hearts and be silent.

Image result for hurt feelings If a member of the body hurt your feelings repetitively you are supposed to forgive them repetitively. ( Matthew 6:14-15 ,Ephesians 4:32,Luke 17:3-4,Colossians 3:13 )Being angry is not the problem. The problem is when you behave in a manner because of that anger, that is not the behavior that the Most High has called you to behave in. This causes you to be in sin and the other people you are angry with are unaffected. A friend told me recently that she learned about accepting what comes and having little to no expectation from people. After all you cannot cause another person to love you all you can do is give love attention and affection and hope that they choose to return it. I read is saying that said, when you truly love someone they should feel free. A relationship without obligation, one that is participated in because both parties choose to put their all into,  is the best kind of relationship. One that has so many conditions on it can leave one person feeling unhappy or feeling that the other person doesn't love them as much as they feel they have given love. 

If you are giving to get a response you will always end up angry.
If you are interacting to get interaction you will end up angry.



Image result for Proverbs 15:1What are your heart motives? Why are you pursuing relationships? Do you have such a relationship with the Most High that He gives you all the things that you need? Then you full from His perfect love will be able to give that love to others freely? That doesn't mean that you should lower your standards, that doesn't mean that you should compromise your beliefs, but it does mean that you can love them in a way that they are free to love you back in their way.

The world teaches us that if you are not treated the way you are expected then they are wrong. That Is worldly love. We are not to be of this world. This world will pass away if you want to be part of something Eternal you must have the Most Highs light Within you.  That is how you let your light shine.

 When you turn a lightbulb on you never hear, "I will only shine if the chair is to the left, the rug is straight, and there are no shoes in the room." The light bulb shines because it has what it needs from its source. If we are to be the light for Christ on this Earth we must not allow the devil to cause us to sin in our anger but shine freely show Love & Mercy freely, and be that light because we have what we need from our source.
 
 Psalms 37:8 - Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Proverbs 14:29 - [He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

James 1:20 - For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Ephesians 4:26 - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

James 1:19 - Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
