Proverbs 20:9 “Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?” 10Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD. 11Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
That's what the Pharisees were. They were better then anyone. That they didn't sin. After all they taught the law of course they weren't breaking it. Christ rebuked them over and over. Said they were dirty on the inside and defiled.
Matthew23:25Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. bones, and of all uncleanness.'>27Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Offend in one point. Guilty of all
Luke 20:46Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; 47Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
Judgement
Ezekiel 3:20Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Matthew 7:2“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
