So many times in our lives we face adversity and wonder why is this happening.
Galatians 6:7 - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
It will apply even if you don't remember that it will apply.
Quite often we are faced with these situation in order that we might learn something about ourselves or realize that there are things in our lives that we have yet to deal with. If you have been examining yourself daily to see if you be in the Faith then you must realize that part of the reason for this adversity and conflict that you are facing and feeling is really and answer to prayer.
- 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Recall when James said count it all joy? So many times I have read that scripture and wondered how can you feel joy while facing a trial of your Faith?
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
That is how. You see when you have truly sought the Most High and allowed him to change your heart, then your desires will change. You will no longer seek his hand for things that will satisfy your fleshly desires ( Jas 4:3) but you will seek His face, His words, His ways. His desires will become your desires. Purification, sanctification, and truth will become your desire.
