Ephesians 4:31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Unforgiveness is a poison that if you do not deal with you will never be free from. Often this is the very doorway that sickness or other demonic activity is allowed access into your life.When you are faced with difficult circumstances in your life if you are going to overcome them it will require some introspection on your part. Have you forgiven? Truly? Have you forgiven those harsh words spoken? Have you forgiven the actions that wounded you so deeply? Have you forgiven the wrongs that were committed against you, even when the perpetrator is not sorry?Ecclesiasticus 28:1 He that revengeth shall find vengeance from the Lord, and he will surely keep his sins in remembrance.2 Forgive thy neighbour the hurt that he hath done unto thee, so shall thy sins also be forgiven when thou prayest.3 One man beareth hatred against another, and doth he seek pardon from the Lord?4 He sheweth no mercy to a man, which is like himself: and doth he ask forgiveness of his own sins?5 If he that is but flesh nourish hatred, who will intreat for pardon of his sins?6 Remember thy end, and let enmity cease; remember corruption and death, and abide in the commandments.7 Remember the commandments, and bear no malice to thy neighbour: remember the covenant of the Highest, and wink at ignorance.
Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Mark 11:25-26 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Luke 17:3-4 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
