How to prepare for the Unexpected

Things happen in this life that we could've never seen coming. When they do how do you react? Do you freak out and go with your emotion of the moment? That is what the world says to do..... OR do you run to the arms of your Father and his words of encouragement inspiration and strength?

Ecclesiasticus 2:1My son, if thou come to serve the Lord, prepare thy soul for temptation. 2Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. 3Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. 4Whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. 5For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.

2 Esdras 13:23“He that shall endure the peril in that time hath kept himself: they that be fallen into danger are such as have works, and faith toward the Almighty.”

We live in a time like never before with wars and rumors of war, tornados, earthquakes, plagues, poisoned or toxic food or water.   The unexpected is always just around the corner and has the opportunity to arrive at your house any minute.  Car accidents or illness, or death can feel like an unexpected challenge that you couldn't have ever prepared for. Except through the Holy spirit we can be prepared.  If you seek wisdom from The Father he will speak to you through the Holy spirit warning of things to come.(John 16:13) Understanding prophecy and looking forward to messiahs return takes time and effort but is very worth it.
