Your eyes

What are you attracted to? It is said that what you focus on will come your way. Where is your focus? People,T.V, clothes, Money, cars, food, or Obedience to The Most High??

 

Luke 11:34“The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.”

Looking at the things you are drawn to will show you the sins you are tempted with. Scripture tells us that we are only tempted and drawn away by the evil within. Even after you have seemingly conquered this sin that you are attracted to and put death to the fleshly desires, Temptation will come. What evil have you yet to expel from your life? 

James1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Baruch Chapter 3:13 For if thou hadst walked in the way of God, thou shouldest have dwelled in peace for ever.14 Learn where is wisdom, where is strength, where is understanding; that thou mayest know also where is length of days, and life, where is the light of the eyes, and peace.
