Too much Talking!!!!!!

Have you ever been in a situation where you find yourself interacting with another person and you can't get a word in edgewise?? Like you have to interrupt them to even be able to speak? Have you ever wondered why people are like that? The tongue is a fiery member. (Jas 3:5-6) When you can control it;you control your whole body. (Jas 3:2) We will be judged for EVERY IDLE WORD ( Matt 12:36)






 Having wisdom and listening to the Holy Spirit will tell you when it is time to speak and when things are better left unsaid. So many times we allow ourselves to speak out of anger or unsettled emotion and then we end up saying things  that we didn't truly mean.

Knowing when to speak and when to hold your tongue is invaluable wisdom.  Knowing what sort of things to speak about and being able to just be; without having to speak.

James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

1 Peter 3:10 | For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Ecclesiasticus 19:6“He that can rule his tongue shall live without strife; and he that hateth babbling shall have less evil.”7 Rehearse not unto another that which is told unto thee, and thou shalt fare never the worse.8 Whether it be to friend or foe, talk not of other men's lives; and if thou canst without offence, reveal them not.9 For he heard and observed thee, and when time cometh he will hate thee.10 If thou hast heard a word, let it die with thee; and be bold, it will not burst thee.
