When your hiding....

So many times a just want to bury our heads in the sand and not deal with the reality.  Not seeing a problem, taking it head on,  and dealing with it won't make it go away.  In fact most times it will seem to grow. And also while you are hiding you are not displaying Faith.  Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith means action. Forward motion even if you are not 100% sure of all the details.

There is a powerful lesson taught by Christ in the new testament in regards to us hiding in the sand and not walking it out in Faith....

Matthew 25:And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. ²⁶His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: ²⁷Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. ²⁸Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. ²⁹For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. ³⁰And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ³¹When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
 2 Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2 Esdras 9 ⁶Even so the times also of the Highest have plain beginnings in wonder and powerful works, and endings in effects and signs. ⁷And every one that shall be saved, and shall be able to escape by his works, and by faith, whereby ye have believed, ⁸Shall be preserved from the said perils, and shall see my salvation in my land, and within my borders: for I have sanctified them for me from the beginning.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

James 2:20-24 - But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 

 James 2:18 - Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
