Forgiveness

Matthew 6:15 - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

This is a requirement for making into that eternal kingdom.  But how can I forgive them when they have caused me so much pain???

We have a chance at being forgiven for all the things against The Most High that we have done. All the times in our lives when he was wanting us to live to our potential and instead we chose to exist on a base frequency in direct opposition to his word.

I don't think that people truly understand the kingdom to come and the ruler of it.   Once you begin to understand His Power and majesty you know that he will demand nothing less than obedience. It was said that The most High is soo holy that not one sin can exist in his presence.
 NOT ONE......

What if you died and were judged, and you just found out that all the lies you told held the same merit as a murderer??
1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
James 2:10 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

Colossians 3:13 - Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.

"We will know the work of forgiveness is complete when we experience the freedom that comes as a result. We are the ones who suffer most when we choose not to forgive. When we do forgive, the Lord sets our hearts free from the anger, bitterness, resentment and hurt that previously imprisoned us. Most times, however, forgiveness is a slow process."~ About.com
Forgiveness Free's you from the anger that you carry around otherwise, it doesn't make the wrong undone or change what happened but it is allowing The Most High to carry it.

Your world around you is a reflection of whats within.

Mark 720 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

There is a reason Christ said to first wash the inside then worry about the outside. When your mind is racing a million different directions and your schedule is out of control (or non existent) it affects everything. Priorities. Many of us let the enemy get us stuck in the cycle of prioritizing whatever comes to our attention first. Kind of a first come first serve priority list. The bible doesn't agree with that mind set. It says seek Me first and all these things shall be added unto you.  Boundaries.
Boundaries go hand in hand with priorities. If you don't have clear boundaries in your life you will allow others to intrude and run your life for you.  If that is not a chaotic lifestyle I don't know what is.  Corinthians told us Christ is the head, then the husband,(or spiritual authority), and then the woman.  If you are not in order you will have chaos in your life.

1 Corinthians 11:3“But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”

The word tells us All things are possible for them that believe. If you are struggling with boundaries or prioritizing your life so that you can truly be effective in serving the Father, go into prayer ask for help, make a plan and stick to it!

Being different in the world of normal

What is normal? To one family it is being busy and having lots of activities, sports ,and things going on. To another it is biking, hiking, and grand adventures, to another movies and books, quiet times and serious behavior.  Normal is subjective to how you define it.  It is sad that because of something we see on t.v. or in a movie, or magazine we are led to believe that if we do something different then others we are not normal.  The scripture calls on us to be different, set apart, sanctified, counter cultural even.  When we stand up for the Most High we will stand out. We must remember though when others see us standing out that they are recognizing The Fathers hand in our lives.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Pride

Pride is Idolatry

Simple Definition of pride

  • : a feeling that you respect yourself and deserve to be respected by other people
  • : a feeling that you are more important or better than other people

Ecclesiasticus 10:18“Pride was not made for men, nor furious anger for them that are born of a woman.” 19 They that fear the Lord are a sure seed, and they that love him an honourable plant: they that regard not the law are a dishonourable seed; they that transgress the commandments are a deceivable seed.

Ecclesiasticus 10:7“Pride is hateful before God and man: and by both doth one commit iniquity.”

Pride is a tool the enemy has been using against mankind since the very beginning. It is a sneaky devil that will get you to put your will and your thoughts above everything else. Pride will not allow you to take wise council, it will not allow you to admit you are wrong.  Think back on this journey you have been on......where would you be if you had never admitted you were wrong.  So now you must ask yourself what other areas of your life has the enemy tricked you into being prideful so that you wouldn't deal in truth and be made free???

Proverbs 29:23“A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.”

Ecclesiasticus 26:26“A woman that honoureth her husband shall be judged wise of all; but she that dishonoureth him in her pride shall be counted ungodly of all.”

Quiet Time

1 Peter 3:4

“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”

...... How do you go about spending time alone? If your thoughts are racing and there is noise around you all the time how do you still your mind to be able to hear that still small voice when it speaks to you? This is one of the many pitfalls many people face. To be busy busy busy, working talking , being entertained constantly and not having any quiet time in their life. Making the time to sit with The Most High, and meditate on the lessons you are learning in His word and your life is the only way to gain perspective and keep a grateful attitude.

Ecclesiastes 9:17“The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.”

Ecclesiasticus Chapter 39:5 He will give his heart to resort early to the Lord that made him, and will pray before the most High, and will open his mouth in prayer, and make supplication for his sins.6 When the great Lord will, he shall be filled with the spirit of understanding: he shall pour out wise sentences, and give thanks unto the Lord in his prayer.7 He shall direct his counsel and knowledge, and in his secrets shall he meditate.8 He shall shew forth that which he hath learned, and shall glory in the law of the covenant of the Lord.

Isaiah Chapter 3217 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
