Feast of Dedication

This feast day was originated in the book of Maccabees. It was after the Greeks had taken and defiled the temple at Jerusalem.  The Maccabees led a revolt and regained control through the power and might of The Most High. This feast is a time of remembrance and celebration of defeat of the enemies of Yasharahla and the re-dedication and consecration of the temple to The Most High.

1 Maccabees 4 : 28 The next year therefore following Lysias gathered together threescore thousand choice men of foot, and five thousand horsemen, that he might subdue them.29 So they came into Idumea, and pitched their tents at Bethsura, and Judas met them with ten thousand men.

30 And when he saw that mighty army, he prayed and said, Blessed art thou, O Saviour of Israel, who didst quell the violence of the mighty man by the hand of thy servant David, and gavest the host of strangers into the hands of Jonathan the son of Saul, and his armourbearer;31 Shut up this army in the hand of thy people Israel, and let them be confounded in their power and horsemen:32 Make them to be of no courage, and cause the boldness of their strength to fall away, and let them quake at their destruction:33 Cast them down with the sword of them that love thee, and let all those that know thy name praise thee with thanksgiving.

34 So they joined battle; and there were slain of the host of Lysias about five thousand men, even before them were they slain.35 Now when Lysias saw his army put to flight, and the manliness of Judas' soldiers, and how they were ready either to live or die valiantly, he went into Antiochia, and gathered together a company of strangers, and having made his army greater than it was, he purposed to come again into Judea.

36Then said Judas and his brethren, Behold, our enemies are discomfited: let us go up to cleanse and dedicate the sanctuary.37 Upon this all the host assembled themselves together, and went up into mount Sion.38 And when they saw the sanctuary desolate, and the altar profaned, and the gates burned up, and shrubs growing in the courts as in a forest, or in one of the mountains, yea, and the priests' chambers pulled down;39 They rent their clothes, and made great lamentation, and cast ashes upon their heads,40 And fell down flat to the ground upon their faces, and blew an alarm with the trumpets, and cried toward heaven.41 Then Judas appointed certain men to fight against those that were in the fortress, until he had cleansed the sanctuary.42 So he chose priests of blameless conversation, such as had pleasure in the law:43 Who cleansed the sanctuary, and bare out the defiled stones into an unclean place.44 And when as they consulted what to do with the altar of burnt offerings, which was profaned;45 They thought it best to pull it down, lest it should be a reproach to them, because the heathen had defiled it: wherefore they pulled it down,46 And laid up the stones in the mountain of the temple in a convenient place, until there should come a prophet to shew what should be done with them.47 Then they took whole stones according to the law, and built a new altar according to the former;48 And made up the sanctuary, and the things that were within the temple, and hallowed the courts.49 They made also new holy vessels, and into the temple they brought the candlestick, and the altar of burnt offerings, and of incense, and the table.50 And upon the altar they burned incense, and the
lamps that were upon the candlestick they lighted, that they might give light in the temple.51 Furthermore they set the loaves upon the table, and spread out the veils, and finished all the works which they had begun to make.52 Now on the five and twentieth day of the ninth month, which is called the month Casleu, in the hundred forty and eighth year, they rose up betimes in the morning,53 And offered sacrifice according to the law upon the new altar of burnt offerings, which they had made.54 Look, at what time and what day the heathen had profaned it, even in that was it dedicated with songs, and citherns, and harps, and cymbals.55 Then all the people fell upon their faces, worshipping and praising the God of heaven, who had given them good success.56 And so they kept the dedication of the altar eight days and offered burnt offerings with gladness, and sacrificed the sacrifice of deliverance and praise.57 They decked also the forefront of the temple with crowns of gold, and with shields; and the gates and the chambers they renewed, and hanged doors upon them.58 Thus was there very great gladness among the people, for that the reproach of the heathen was put away.59 Moreover Judas and his brethren with the whole congregation of Israel ordained, that the days of the dedication of the altar should be kept in their season from year to year by the space of eight days, from the five and twentieth day of the month Casleu, with mirth and gladness.

According to the calendar laid out in Jubalees and Enoch The Feast of Dedication falls on December 1-8this year. This is the Feast that falls in the winter according to The Bible. When we learn that this is something that The messiah kept and that we are supposed to follow in his footsteps we see the importance of this remembrance. After his coming the temple was no longer an earthly one, but we now are his temple. This then becomes a time of year to dedicate ourselves to the service of the King and the Kingdom that is soon to come.

John 10:22“And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.”

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.,1 Corinthians 4:16

Acts7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Childish things

Are you caught up in envy and strife or something else that causes division?? 1st Corinthians tells us that these are things babes in the truth are caught up in.     There comes a point in your life when you must move forward from childish behavior on word on to maturity. Especially if you have been entrusted with the guardianship of a child's Soul. What sort of example are you teaching them? most high will keep these aligned until he returns
Children learn what they live not what they are told. Are you leaving with a mature example or are you allowing your flesh to keep you in a childish mindset; and therefore holding your own child back because you are not pushing yourself to grow to mature? It's been said How We Do Anything Is How We Do Everything. That statement has everything to do with discipline and self-examination. Do you check out the different areas of your life and look for areas that need Improvement? Do you take action and make a change when you find a weakness? Are you a warrior or a whiner?

Think of those considered strong or Elite in the world do you think they'll lax in their discipline? Olympians, spies, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, top chefs, Etc? Do you think they missed a training session with an excuse? Do you think they skip a step because of emotions? Or a hard day? If you are training to be in the most High's kingdom do you believe you will make it there by skipping steps? Are you alive? Prayer,   Study, Fasting, & Discipline -Mentally, Physically, &     SPIRITUALLY must be in order. Praying that the Father will preserve and align you until the end.

1 Thessalonians 5:2323And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

1 Corinthians 1:5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Operatives wanted

Esther 4:14“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Image result for fields ready for harvest

Matthew 9:37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Have you been in prayer and asked what the Most High what is your role in this time?? Christ looked out upon the multitudes of people that were searching for truth. Searching for someone to show them how to walk in righteousness.  He came to the conclusion the workers were few.

Isn't that what is still going on today? In the world of advertising and photo-shop nothing is what it seems.  Think about it. Each one of us has known someone who was really willing to be real with us(good bad & ugly), show us what they had learned, and where to look for answers they had yet to find.  This person has helped to inspire us and start us on a journey toward the Father.

At what point is it time for you to take control of your journey? Responsibility and accountability for your decisions and actions?
When will you become that real person for another?
Being an operative for the Father requires action!!

Are you willing to press in and fight the evil of this time?? Fight with prayer? Fight with righteous living? Fight with obedience? Are you willing to be an operative? It requires focus, discipline, and diligence.

Hebrews 10:22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Is your life a metaphor?

Image result for example

1 Corinthians 10:11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it

Is your life a metaphor for what the Father is trying to show you? Are crazy things happening around you and you can't figure out why? Could it be because you're supposed to see the lesson in them? You're supposed to see yourself in that position and see if what is happening is happening because you are supposed to be learning that very lesson. Don't keep missing the lesson and going around and around in circles!!

Image result for wildernessHebrews 3: 8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

The wilderness wasn't about the 40 years in the wilderness it was about their rebellion and hard hearts.

Numbers 20:10And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 11And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

Image result for water from rockThe water from the rock wasn't just about the rock but about the Most Highs ability to provide from a unexpected source.

Exodus16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

The manna from heaven wasn't about them eating as would they be able to be obedient with their provision.

The quail wasn't as much about the most high answering their complaints as showing them that their fleshly desires could overwhelm them and make them sick. They died because of their lust. They didn't always know what was best for themselves.

Vanity

Image result for woman putting on make

Psalms 4:2
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing( lies, falsehood, anything that deceives)? Selah.

2 Kings 17:15
And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.

Image result for vainVanity is tied to Pride....one of the seven deadly sins. In this day and age where we are inundated with images of beautiful and perfect vanity is a hard spirit to fight. Living in this land of confusion we are taught that if you are anything less then fit, made up, right clothes, shoes, etc then you are ugly.  The Most high created each of us exactly the way he intended for us to look. We have been deceived by the enemy to feel lesser than if we are not expressing our individuality, by picking a trend or idea to follow.  Which by that very act lessens our God given individuality.

Psalms 10:4
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Job 15:31
Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

Job 31:5
If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;

Job 35:13
Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

Bound vs Bondage

In our pursuit of truth we know that we are leaving the old (world) to become made new (whole) in the Most High.  As we transition we are going to be challenged by the spirits that we took on or entertained before coming into the truth.

These very spirits will not let go and want you to stay in bondage to them.  Their assignment is to keep you from being made new in Abba.  How do you know where you are????  In bondage you experience just enough earthly pleasure to soothe you, to keep you sedated and comfortable in this fallen place.  The more that you allow yourself to be immersed in darkness you will fall victim to the poison and be given over to a reprobate mind.  Those you love here will be a part of this mission.  Satan’s’ deception, his ways, his ways will become yours and before you know it you are His elect with no hope of escaping.  Their allegiance is encompassing, with dedication come what may to their Father.  They will pursue you because their plight is set and they have no hope of ever receiving the gift; that we are offered by the Most High. They will be relentless and meticulous in seeking you out.

Becoming who the Most High purposed us to be after we are redeemed or reborn is a fight.  There is no compromise and we are only His when we move in His commandments.  Your failure to do so puts you in jeopardy and you will not be covered forever.  Know that you will have to choose!!!  This means being "Set Apart" in every way, even if you are the last one standing in the commandments until His work is done!!!!!  In becoming renewed in the Most High  we are His we are bound to Him by this
lawSo in Abba there is “a limiting line “ drawn for us by the commandments and in choosing them we choose Him ; which means that He is the “something” that limits or “restrains” us so we can be made new in His image.  This restraint is not grievous and the more we grow the better being bound feels. IF we are His we are to move in it and to bear witness of ALL that our given word He illustrated Him to be IF we believe.  In doing so He can show others that He chooses to be His remnant the very light that drew us.

What is the difference in being bound to Abba there is no torment only peace.....you will truly be made new through our Savior and be found worthy to be counted as His own.   Our instruction gives us a idea of what this looks like in Ephesians 4:1-3 explains this in detail and is good to meditate delve into as you seek Him out.  You will here whispers; that are lies saying: how we are instructed to move in OUR laws is done away with; that we are the ones in bondage.  To which you
ONLY answer in joy YES.....YES I am with hesitation!!!!!!!   Our being bound grants us eternal joy, complete healing and no more sorrow forever more.  IF you have eyes to see that the darkness that has manifested is only the beginning of what Abba has laid out.  We have chosen to move in His love in peace and not be grieved in it.  THEREFORE......we are given a
priceless opportunity to be blessed to comprehend the fullness of who we are in the Most High to see, feel, hear, speak, and comprehend all that He is just as it was always intended.   If you are in bondage there is hope and you can choose to be free.  IF ......you are free stay
"tied tight" and don't let go.  Walk out this testimony as a witness and strive like never before knowing that our Rescue Party is coming........and His feast is by invitation only.......for those invigorated to be steadfast; because the day of the Most High......the Ancient of Days is at hand....all praises to our Creator !!!!!!!
