Greatness is established one piece at a time

That is why we must build each day and walk rightly to gain our spot in the kingdom. The kingdom that is eternal deserves citizens that will establish it, not seek to destroy it. The Most High has sent us here to be proved, tried, and tested. He has asked us to lay aside everything that would ensnare or entrap us. To purify ourselves and lay aside all manner of sin that we might be worthy to enter that kingdom.

Hebrews 11:13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

1 Peter 2:11
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;12Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 13Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

Judges 2:22
That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

Wisdom of Solomon 3:4For though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality. 5And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for God proved them, and found them worthy for himself. 6As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering. 7And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.

Ecclesiasticus 37:27-31My son, prove thy soul in thy life, and see what is evil for it, and give not that unto it.For all things are not profitable for all men, neither hath every soul pleasure in every thing.Be not unsatiable in any dainty thing, nor too greedy upon meats:For excess of meats bringeth sickness, and surfeiting will turn into choler.By surfeiting have many perished; but he that taketh heed prolongeth his life.

Romans 12:2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
