Is your life a metaphor?

1 Corinthians 10:11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it

Is your life a metaphor for what the Father is trying to show you? Are crazy things happening around you and you can't figure out why? Could it be because you're supposed to see the lesson in them? You're supposed to see yourself in that position and see if what is happening is happening because you are supposed to be learning that very lesson. Don't keep missing the lesson and going around and around in circles!!

The wilderness wasn't about the 40 years in the wilderness it was about their rebellion and hard hearts.

Numbers 20:10And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 11And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

Image result for water from rockThe water from the rock wasn't just about the rock but about the Most Highs ability to provide from a unexpected source.

Exodus16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

The manna from heaven wasn't about them eating as would they be able to be obedient with their provision.

The quail wasn't as much about the most high answering their complaints as showing them that their fleshly desires could overwhelm them and make them sick. They died because of their lust. They didn't always know what was best for themselves.
