This may be a phrase you may have heard in the world of
"religion". The context speaks of someone's actions when
"Praising God" it often refers to displays or the “BIG SHOWS “people
give when they are "moved by God or the Holy spirit”.
Realistically many hear this and think that these people are so connected to
the Most High when it is just the opposite.
In truth most of them are what scripture refers to as
lukewarm. This is because there is a half hearted connection to the
Most High and their spirits are more in sync to what the world has told
them what "religion" is. They have settled in this think
so will not search out the Father in truth. Therefore they're not any
different from the world in their pursuit of the Most High. He has very high
standards for those who are His and if you are moving in Him you will know
that. He requires repentance and IF this is so when we chose Abba we can
be made new in Him. We walk in Him in
every way so that we are not comfortable in the misguided teachings of
Him, that the world sells.
When we move in this and leave the world for Him we understand
that this phrase is true. What is wrong is that is has been applied in
the wrong way which of no surprise be it is the norm by those who claim to be
instructed in His word. Who claim to belong to the Father alone but
do not keep His laws and statutes. So
that being said, there are very few that really understand the peace of being
fully the Father's child. This is because they are immersed in
this world's churches that are about man and not the Most High the author of
all.
Although services vary they require that you be led by someone
that in all honesty knows the power or the Father but denies Him. They
have been placed in that very position to do just that. Their doing so is
for prosperity and gain in this world, they are in it for self. They will
never tell you the truth of who He is or introduce Him properly because the
truth is not popular nor profitable. This is why we are told to know
them by their fruits. There different levels of deception because the
truth of the Most High was corrupted thousands of years ago by those who wanted
the offerings of the fallen over the promises of Abba.
So you may here show out if you belong to "god" or I
need a runner, then someone runs up and down the isles. Someone is
shouting as though possessed speaking in tongues acting outside of how the word
says in the spirits that have been ushered. Then there are those
who spirits will be provoked enough to go into shaking, convulsing and falling
out. Now there are times when these
experiences are real and as you row you will know the difference. These scenes in many services today look out
of order unlike those we read of in scripture.
It really looks like fans at a football, basketball or baseball
game. How?? The director pulls on the crowds spirits in the
same way fans are hyped up by music and lights, etc. You ask the average church person and they
will tell you that they were moved by the spirit and so will the avid
painted faced fan at the game. So we need to examine this and ask why do
you see the same acts in such "vastly" different venues?
How can
the Most High’s place of worship mirror the world??? It can’t we are told this
in reading
Matthew 6:1-81 Take heed that ye do not
your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your
Father which is in heaven.2 Therefore when thou doest
[thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the
synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say
unto you, They have their reward.3 But when thou doest alms,
let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:4 That thine alms may be in
secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.5 And when thou prayest,
thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in
the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.6 But thou, when thou
prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy
Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward
thee openly.7 But when ye pray, use not
vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard
for their much speaking.8 Be not ye therefore like
unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask
him.
So the assembly is supposed to show Abbas' glory; so how does
this “energy” and these gestures whether it be screaming uncontrollably,
fighting or like behavior exist at both places. Well really it is
because these spirits are the same. They are moved by the entertainer and
it soothes the individual’s spirit until the next time a dose is needed. Ironically this seems to be the once a week
you see when people go to church or take in a game. They can get there
dose via television or by going to venue. A few churches even throw
in celebrities like sports events to really pull on the people. The
grander the facilities are the greater the crowd and the performance. Why because we are told the bigger a thing
the better it is, hence the Bentleys and the fancy suits. So many will
even seek out these types of churches in some cases because it
"ensure" the performer is blessed. So in giving thought to this
what does your walk in the Most High look like?? Is it simple in stable and
consistent in the Father or is it all the pomp?? Does it mirror the walk of our
Savior our does it look like just another coliseum that pumps up the masses
that are connected to this fallen world.
So the answer is …….Yes!!!! It does take all that but not in the way you
think. What does it take for one to have
a true relationship with Abba??? HONESTY…….it takes you opening up and
being honest about how wretched and tore up you are!!!!! Then it takes submitting to Him totally by keeping
His commandments and in doing so it doesn't grieve you. Your all goes
into Him consistently so that He can make you a new. This will bring the
energy so many seek in the ways we have talked about; but the spirit in you will
not look like the world but be a reflection of who is His and who's you are.
