Think of your favorite food or the best meal you have ever eaten. How did you feel after you had eaten it?? If in a restaurant how was the service?? I have enjoyed many things so much that I sought the recipes out to make them. Now think of the worst thing you have ever eaten. Was it cooked wrong or how about a piece of hair in it??? If so would you chose to eat it or would you eat there again?

This got me thinking of the detail that goes into a recipe and how when followed precisely you can enjoy a wonderful meal. Furthermore how diligent our elders were when they prepared meals. In this time I thought of Cain's' rebuked offering to the Most High versus the accepted presentation of Abel The difference was in their spirit of "love for the Father" in preparing and gathering the offering that was given to Abba.

In Genesis….4 3-5 we learn that…..So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Most High of the fruit of the ground. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Most High had regard for Abel and for his offering; 5but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard.
Have you given thought to how specific and precise the details, the instruction, "the recipes" were when our elders prepared food for feast days or offerings??? What did Abrahams' care in his offerings to our Father look like; even through he had numerous fiery trials? Was there a set forth order in his home so that the meal presented before the angels illustrated his obedience to the Most High? This diligence was seen in the meal prepared for Isaac in preparation of his passing of the inheritance, it was precise!!! The instruction in the presentation was ordained by Abraham in the Most High so Jacob moved as instructed when told to prepare the feast for his father, as we have learned, in a particular manner because he had the same love in his spirit for the Father. Our love letter illustrates all that a wonderful meal represents, even if the meal itself is not, like in our brother Ezekiel's case in 4:15. None of us could begin to understand the resolve he had to make those cakes and then consume them. Why??? We were not in the same (right) spirit given to him, because what he did shows that he was steadfast in refusing to be disobedient because he truly "loved" the Most High!!!!! It was done to illustrate the gravity of Abbas' contempt of who we had become!!!! In our Father's rebuke through this decree to our stiff necked elders (and us who are not redeemed) is clear about His disgust of how we had fallen as His people, although he had been beyond patient. The dung used in this "recipe" with the barley, millet, beans and other the ingredients for the meal to be consumed was what we had become. This was our savor …..the aroma that we sent (send as unredeemed) up before the Most High. Honestly would you want a plate???? NO!!!!! So for those with eyes to see these are just a few of the examples that we are given to move by after our eyes have been opened to the
