Are you a warrior?

2 Corinthians 10:3-5For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:4 (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

When you picture yourself in the spiritual realm, what do you see?
Just an average person? Someone without any power?  Where is your power and authority? Have you allowed the enemy to steal your vision??

The Scriptures tell us the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force!
Matthew 11:12

How are you waging spiritual war on the kingdom of darkness?
How is that translating into your everyday life?  Warriors are disciplined in every area of their lives. Always aware that the enemy is about, like a lion.1 Peter 5:8
He is hunting you and preying on your weaknesses. Are you working on those to strengthen them?? Is Your weakness in your
flesh exactly what is keeping you from battling the way we are called to in the spiritual realm??
Is your compromise in the spiritual realm what is causing your lack in the natural?? They are all connected. If you are out of balance it is something you are doing or not doing.

James 4:17“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

It is time to stomp this devil!! take your authority back. Find your serious no nonsense voice and use it!

Matthew 16:19“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Ephesians 6:11-12 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

1 John 5:4-5 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.   (Read More...)

Is your emotion getting in the way of your mission?

When I think that what if today was my last. What would the judgement of your life be? What would your record determine?

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Have you hidden away your talents and gifts? Have you become selfish and self centered because you feel taken for granted? Has Satan deceptions about your purpose and this life caused you to be less then you are capable of being?

Matthew 25.

Philippians 2:3 - [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Is your emotion getting in the way of your mission? Of your life's work? Your legacy? Are you allowing yourself to be your own worst enemy?

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Psalms 127:3 - Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

If you do not have children, who are you influencing????You have to fight for your eternal light!!

Change your thinking change your life!!!

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest,
whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.

Wherever you consistently put your focus that is what will grow.  Is your focus on things from above or on things from below?  The enemy loves to take things that are happening in our lives to grow, change, and shape us into the warriors that we were created to be and make them seem like the impossible.  What is your response when this happens? Do you find yourself overwhelmed and in dispair? Do you not remind the enemy that the God you serve can do the impossible??? Have Faith! Be Encouraged! And focus on things above and watch what The Most High will do!

Matthew 12:33-37 - Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit.   (Read More...)

Have you allowed your Flesh to sabatoge you??

People hate change.

A blanket statement but, if you look at the major population as a whole. Most would agree that people will not make a change unless they are forced to.

The flesh mind says keep doing what you know. New things are dangerous. Different is scary.

Christ challenges those notions.

When you examine yourself to see if you be in the Faith do you find yourself exhibiting these qualities?? If not you now know the things to work on and the scriptures to meditate on to be transformed in the washing of the word and go from ordinary to Extraordinary! Don't allow your flesh to sabatoge your purpose.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 Corinthians 2:13-16 - Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.   (Read More...)

1 Peter 4:17 - For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?

John 5:30 - I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Are your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel?

Luke 12:47 - And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes].

Not only does not being prepared leave you in dire circumstances but also makes you dependant on others for your survival.  The number one skill for survival is Attitude. What does your attitude look like when you are faced with a difficult circumstance in your daily life? Can you prioritize? Have you developed the skills and abilities to communicate and interact with someone who is trying to keep you from completing your goals in a calm and rational way? Can you hold your temper when you are being pushed to your limit of frustration? Do you have the relationship with The Most High strong enough that even when you are being pursued  by your enemies you are able to trust that the Father will be true to His word?

Preparedness takes discipline, focus, and determination. The three recommended steps to be prepared are 1) Be Ready 2) Plan 3) Know. I ask how can you be ready if you have not studied prophecy to know whats coming? How can you plan to make it to the Kingdom if you don't know the path and requirements to get there? And how can you know what it's going to take without the focus and determination to study, pray, and obey?

Luke 21:36 - Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

What effect are you having??

Proverbs 22:1 - A [good] name [is] rather to be chosen than great riches, [and] loving favour rather than silver and gold.

When people hear your name what comes to mind?  Is it Honor? Is it Strength? Is it Integrity? Is it anything that has to do with serving The Most High?  If I were to go and interview your co-workers, or the regular clerk at the grocery store, would they have something positive to say about you? Whether we realize it or not everywhere we go we are influencing people.  Is your influence positive or negative?

There is a saying that your life may be the only Bible that some people ever read. Do you consider this thought when you go about your day? When you are irritated with your children or your spouse? When your car breaks down or a check has bounced in your checking account? When the enemy uses something in this world to get you stressed out and worked up do you still carry yourself as though you are the only Bible some may ever see or do you just react in your flesh unaware of how your actions are perceived by others?

Ecclesiastes 7:1 - A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.
Proverbs 10:7 - The memory of the just [is] blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

To Be Set Apart for Service

1 Chronicles 29:5 “The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?”

consecrate-to make or declare sacred; set apart or dedicate to the service of a deity

Consecrate yourselves unto The Most High.

When you hear that what do you think?? what are the areas of your life that you are still withholding from The Most High? The areas where you are still allowing your flesh mind to control the temple he created for you and sent his Son to redeem back to him.

Is your answer to whatever he may speak to you Yes & so be it?? I guarantee that if you were in service to an earthly king you would have a much harder time with rebellion as it would likely mean your death.

The Most High is patient with us wishing that all would repent. Many times in our lives we get in our own way because we don't understand the ways of the Father.  He isn't judging someone or they aren't behaving in the way that we think they should.  Again I say do you think that you would take such liberties with an earthly king.  If so you are braver than I.

Hebrew 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;21 And having an high priest over the house of God;22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

As we have just passed through the Feast of Dedication, now is the time to think about consecration.

To Be Set Apart for Service.
