Inspiration

When your running low where do you look for it? What makes you want to build or create? What gets your juices flowing?  It is different for each one of us. When you are a child of The Most High he will give you abilities and talents that others do not possess. Are you using your talents to glorify Him and His kingdom?

 

Romans 12:6 - Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;

James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The Most High has given you a purpose and a gift. Yes that does make you different. Yes that will make you stand out. Embrace it! Be you and shine for Him. He sent you here to be a light for Him. He doesn't only want white lights. He enjoys Purple, Green, Red, Orange, and Blue. He created each of us to be individuals with a special mission for us to accomplish. Your inspiration to shine brightly can be found in Him. Make Him the source of your everything and you will be accomplishing great things before you know it!

Can you let it all go?

Psalms 119:2“Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”

When it is time to focus on the father, time for prayer, worship, or study; do you let the cares of this life fall away and focus completely on the Father? Or are you so consumed with what is going on in your life, your stress, your family, that you discount His abilities.  Do you remember the one you claim to serve and love hung the sun in the sky?  Do you remember that the eternal kingdom will have streets paved with gold? Do you know that he knows the exact number of stars in the heavens and hairs on your head?  Your issues are not your issues. Your real issue is trust. Your real issue is Faith. Your real issue is that because you are a human and you have been hurt or failed by other humans you believe that The Most High has less than the very best in mind for you, if you could but just trust Him. IF you are lacking ask the Father to increase it. ( Luke 17:4, and Mark 9:24) Then focus on Him and the beauty of His majesty . When praises go up that is when blessings come down.

Isaiah 55:6“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”

1 Chronicles 16:11

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

Luke 12:29²⁹And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. ³⁰For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. ³¹But rather seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.

 Luke 21:34“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.”

Mark 4:19“And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.”

John 12:25“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”

You are not Unredeemable!

Are you willing to risk it ALL??? Risking everything can bring bigger rewards than you could imagine!!! It can redeem the seemingly unredeemable & save an entire family. There is historical proof. Where you ask?? I'm talking about

In this story of Jericho often it is focused on the great victory of the walls falling down that The Most High gave to Joshua and the children of Israel. The story I want to focus on today tho is that of Rahab. She is often referred to as Rahab the Harlot.  A constant reminder of her sin and crimes.  What if you were forever called by your sin?? What would your name become? Jane the rebellious. Sally the addict. Mary the prostitute?   Something to consider. The power of what Christs sacrifice and opportunity for forgiveness has done for us.

 

Hebrews 11:31

By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

James 2:25

Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

Back to the story.  So here she is a harlot. Living on the wall of the city.  Surrounded by paganism and practicing idolatry.  When the spies show up she has heard the tails of the God of the Israelites and how he fights for them.  She was smart enough not to mess with that God. So to preserve her life she risked EVERYTHING.   She was betraying her nation. Breaking the laws of her people. Doing what no one else would.  In return??? Well if you read the whole story she was saved along with her family.  Given life and protection and the opportunity to serve this God who had just destroyed everything around them. Do you think they were full of awe?  Their idols had never shown them such power or might. 

Joshua 2:1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;9 And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

 Joshua 6:17And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 

So when you feel that you have fallen to far. Or then devil tries to bring up your past think of Rahab. After all, she ended up being listed in Messiahs lineage.  The Most High picks. The Most High Calls. If he has called you out of darkness it is time to stand!! Time to Train. Become disciplined. Study. Pray, Worship. Press IN!! Now is the time. Get your sense of urgency back!

Mosaic

Broken, crushed, destroyed, cracked,defeated, beaten, subdued,smashed, shattered, fragmented, splintered, crushed, snapped; disregarded, ignored, destroyed, disintegrated.

If you are dealing with any of these emotions know it is in fact the Most High allowing  you to get broken so that he can create your mosaic.




It is a work of art. Hard to see when your up close or attached to the things that are needing to be broken to take something ugly and turn it into something beautiful. 

Psalms 51:17“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”  

Psalms 147:¹Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. ²The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. ³He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

 Luke 20: ¹⁷And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? ¹⁸Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

 Psalms 34:18 - The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 

Power of changing Perspective

Changing your perspective can change you from a fool to a wise man OR from a wise person to a fool. The old saying goes if you continue to do what you've always done and expect different results you are insane.

If you are used to an unhealthy toxic environment and you continue to search out that environment you are asking to be in pain.  If you are used to being hurt and then expecting everyone around you to hurt you, it will come to you and you will end up hurt. The people who are successful and considered wise or not those who are the most popular the most fun-loving or the most zealous, they are the ones that have the proper perspective on what is going on around them.

When another treats them callously they don't take it personally.
They understand that it is about that person not about them.
When someone isn't behaving in the manner that you think that they ought to understand that that is about you ultimately and not about them.
There is something about your behavior that you are not correcting and so continue to be bothered by their behavior.

Luke 10:38“Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.³⁹And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. ⁴⁰But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. ⁴¹And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:⁴²But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. ”

Let's consider Martha and Mary. When Christ was teaching Mary chose to sit at the feet of Christ and absorbed the wisdom and the teaching. Martha thought making preparations and making sure everyone was comfortable and taking care of was the priority. When she attempted to get Christ to take her side she found herself being corrected instead of agreed with. Many times we feel we are right. We feel that we have done are doing the right thing and others are in the wrong. Satan knows exactly what will offend you, hurt your feelings, and get you more focused on people and their actions than on what the Father is doing.  What is your purpose here? What is your point? Is it to be with people, is it to have friends, to make money and to be of this Earth? Or is it to support the Father's work and to focus on the job he gave you?

 We spend so much time focused on other people and what they are doing and how they are behaving and what they are how they are conducting themselves that we missed our own directives, blessings, and instructions. We miss with the father is really doing. Don't miss your encounter because you are to focused on someone else!!

Where are your loyalties?  Who are you trying to impress or gain acknowledgement from?  If no one in your life ever again said good job or that they were proud of you......would you continue on the path you've started down?

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
 

Matthew 6:1-34 - Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.   

John 5:41 I receive not honour from men.42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

 

Giving ALL Diligence

2 Peter 1:⁴Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ⁵And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; ⁶And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; ⁷And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. ⁸For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Yashaya Christ.

Are you giving your all?? Or are you living this life in a perfunctory manner expecting to be rewarded? Do you use excuses like Thank God for grace or well I wasn't born an Isrealite so....  

Do you know the Father is NOT playing games?? This is for your soul. Yes today, when you feel sad, lonely, or down. These are the most important days to press in and get his strength.  If your not going to ask your creator for help then you need to ask yourself where will this pride get you?

 

The bible says it comes before destruction.  

There are NO mistakes. The one who created the universe and hung the stars in the sky created you for a purpose!!!

 When we are excited about something there is a drive and determination that comes with that excitement.  More than excitement I want you to find that determined commitment deep within you and ask the Father for help. Give your service to the king all diligence and He Will make a way.
